Billing

Perennial Mental Health, LLC is out-of-network from insurance. However, HSAs/FSAs are accepted, and Jenn is happy to provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Please see the services page for a breakdown of what each service costs at Perennial Mental Health. If the typical rates are not feasible for you at this time, please reach out to Jenn via the contact form to ask about sliding scale options, and hopefully we can find a rate that works best for your life and finances!

Helpful terms to know:

  • HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) -
An employer-sponsored accounts used to pay for various medical expenses. Basically a bank account that is solely used for copays, therapy costs, and other health-related expenses.

  • Superbill -
An itemized, comprehensive "receipt" provided by an out-of-network provider to the patient, who can then submit it to their insurance company to seek reimbursement for the cost they paid for those services. Superbills are usually provided monthly.

  • Sliding scale -
A pricing model that adjusts the cost of services based on one’s financial circumstances or income, and allows for an agreed-upon price that is lower than the standard rate. The sliding-scale model is designed to make services more accessible to everyone.
